About Community:

San Diego is the county seat of Duval County. Located about halfway between Laredo and Corpus Christi, it is often described by residents as a family-friendly community with a strong sense of South Texas heritage.  Known for its deep roots in the Texas cattle industry and its colorful political history, the area is dominated by large ranches. For major outdoor recreation, residents often visit nearby Goliad State Park or King Ranch.
