About Community:

Lorena Texas is located in McLennan County 13 miles southwest of Waco. It is part of the "NAFTA Corridor," featuring significant commercial footage along I-35. Recent economic developments include the attraction of the Bright Farms hydroponic greenhouse, which earned the city a community economic development award. Lorena ISD is a central pillar of the community, serving approximately 1,815 students.
